We are an independent marketing firm specializing in Branding, Production, & Corporate Communications.
We start every project with one question: “What does success look like?” And we never take our eye off that ball. One part logic, one part common sense, and all parts focused on your business objectives, we believe the right strategy cuts through the chaos of today’s ever-changing marketing communications environment to provide what we’re all looking for – clarity and outcomes. Oh, and if you’re struggling with this whole “audience first” mindset thing, call us. We have some ideas.
We believe brands are built from the inside out. So what you convey to consumers must be genuine to who you are as an organization and all those amazing people who work within it. That makes authenticity the most important component in branding. In your messaging. In your imagery. Oh, and you might want to double-check your mission statement, too. And today, one brand does not fit all. The most progressive organizations have both a Consumer Brand and an Employer Brand. Nope, it doesn’t complicate things – it actually helps clarify messaging between your Marketing and Recruitment teams so neither has to compromise. How refreshing is that?
OK, what are we really talking about here? Content! Because today, content makes the world go ‘round – or at least our marketing corner of it. So production has to be seamless, nimble, and cost effective without sacrificing quality. BTW, that little device in your hand where everyone is consuming your content is also becoming the preferred way to create it, IF you know what you’re doing. And AI – yes it has a place in production. But it’s not doing our job for us. It’s helping us do key parts of our job better – and at a better price.
How many times have you heard this?… “We need a social media strategy!” No you don’t. You need to figure out how to integrate social media into your existing marketing communications plan. The sooner you stop treating it like an afterthought and start seeing it as a valued and nimble member of the comms family, the better everything works together. And if you’re not sure if that statement applies to your organization, here’s a litmus test: If things like “National Donut Day” are featured in your social media and you’re not a bakery, you might want to call us. Today.
Here’s a question. Why are discussions of “user experience (UX)” only reserved for the topic of website design? Shouldn’t we be having the same discussion around trade show booths, street team interactions, sponsorships, and even what we expect when someone encounters a paid ad? Let’s never forget that “activations” are what bring products and services to life for the end-user. It’s how engagement turns into action – and revenue, if you’re really on your game. Remember, in marketing just as in marriage – engagement is wonderful. But the real relationship begins when you walk down the aisle together.
For 20+ years, we’ve partnered with TMNA on sustainability communications, corporate communications, compliance, and safety messaging across North American plants. From branding and corporate storytelling to event activations and experiential installations, we’ve delivered consistent impact for one of the world’s leading manufacturers.
For nearly a decade, Bisig has partnered with Hagyard on a vast range of marketing initiatives: modernizing their brand in an industry that holds tight to tradition, enhancing their tradeshow presence and engagement, even cracking the code on a difficult pricing strategy for a product re-launch. Perhaps the pinnacle of the partnership has been creating new brand positioning and the campaign for their 150th Anniversary. The campaign ensured that Hagyard not only honored the rich history of their past, but also set the tone for an amazing future inspired by innovation.
Bisig has a 20+ year history working with Norton Healthcare, primarily focused on internal communication. We’ve supported in-person and online onboarding initiatives, training tools, a library of videos to help inform and excite staff, podcasts (before podcasts were hip), and the development of their Employer Brand that works in lock-step with their Consumer Brand. And every step of the way, together, we found ways to balance the serious nature of healthcare topics with a tone and personalty that was engaging — and even fun, where appropriate. As it turns out, onboarding and training don’t have to be boring after all.
Over the years, Bisig has partnered with the YMCA on campaign development, event activation, and strategic planning that drives membership growth and expands community impact. Our nonprofit marketing expertise helps this vital organization educate audiences, engage supporters, and strengthen their mission across Greater Louisville.
We bring bold ideas and strong execution. Our team knows how to create audience-first campaigns that work in the moment and keep working over time.
Our messaging, design, photo, video, and experiential work is built to connect with people. We want your audiences to feel something, remember something, and take action.
With full in-house production, we can move quickly and cost efficiently, delivering outstanding creativity and quality.
We’re at our best when partnering with leaders and teams, especially in moments of change, complexity, or transformation.
